Wine started as something to celebrate a good deal or an important sale. Maybe that's why your mind associates it with the adrenaline rush of closing a big deal. You used to think about bonuses, now you only think about which wine to celebrate with. From the start you toasted with the best of the best — but can you tell a €10 wine from a €200 one? Prove you don't just taste labels!

Your defiant look, with vibrantly dyed hair and a distinctive style, contrasts with the typical image of a wine lover. But you're not the typical wine consumer: while others talk about varieties, regions or winemaking techniques, you drop terms like 'zero ppm', 'VA' or 'Brett'. But all that experience has sharpened your ability to spot a wine's flaws, making you a true master of tasting. Nobody pulls the wool over your eyes. You're a genius at picking quality for price — if it costs more than €10, it's overrated.

    With Play, four blind samples arrive at home. At your venue or event, you choose the wines.

  2. Tasting screen in the game: visual phase, colour intensity

    You taste blind.

    Sight, nose and palate. Then you commit: grape, country, region and price. No pretty label to whisper the answer. And if you screw it up, you screw it up.

  3. Hall of fame: the monthly ranking in the game

    You get paid in points.

    Up to 40 points per wine. Your score goes into the monthly ranking: yours and your gang’s.

Before you join.

Which wines are included?

Every shipment is different, with wines from the main producing countries. The average price of a full bottle is between €21 and €25: you might get four €24 wines, or three €5 wines and one €80 wine. Not knowing is part of the game.

How do the wines arrive in good condition?

They’re re-bottled in a specialist lab, in aseptic conditions and with argon gas so they don’t oxidise.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, there’s no minimum term. If you cancel after the month has been charged, it takes effect the following month.
